All companies in Norway, including the 2600 small and medium sized ones with more than 100 employees, are obliged to have a pension plan for their employees. In addition to this, the companies have a considerable number of supplementary pension plans for groups of employees or individual employees.
Norsk Tillitsmann Pensjon AS (“the Pension Trustee”) is a subsidiary of Norsk Tillitsmann ASA and has one strategic mission, namely to contribute to increased confidence in established and new pension plans.
The role as independent pension trustee may involve being appointed by the company as:
- an independent and experienced partner who safeguards that pension plans are and stay correct, complete, consistent
- a partner with a large and growing database of documentation that and may be used as templates when developing new pension plans
- a trusted third party and security agent for collateralized pension obligations
- an independent trustee with pension funds
