- Norsk Tillitsmann was established in 1993 based on the need for a professional and independent body to follow up and monitor the issuers' obligations in relation to Norwegian bond s, on behalf of bondholders.
- Norsk Tillitsmann has 21 employees and is a flexible organisation with legal, financial and systems- technical expertise.
- Norsk Tillitsmann safeguards the rights of certificate and bond owners, and contributes to a more efficient and healthy market for interest-bearing securities.
- Norsk Tillitsmann has, through its accumulation of expertise and development of systems, established an efficient handling of a large number of trustee assignments, which at the end of last year comprised 1740 assignments, equivalent to an outstanding volume of NOK 749 billion.
- Norsk Tillitsmann offers electronic solutions for delivering information on securities for the Norwegian interest rate market through its subsidiary Stamdata AS.
- As an independent and trusted third party, Norsk Tillitsmann also handles assignments on behalf of other parties outside the securities market, including deposit of source codes, security agent, process agent and business manager.
- Through its subsidiary Norsk Tillitsmann Pensjon AS, Norsk Tillitsmann provides trustee services to the pension market.
